Get Connected
You are a qualified baker, born and living in Argentina. In your free time you studied at a missiological training institute in your country.
Now, and for some time already, you experienced a calling from God to work as a 'tentmaker' in Europe. It is your wish to work part-time in a local European church as (one of) their evangelist(s) and part-time -to earn a living- in your profession as baker.
You are a local pastor in Germany, praying for an (extra) evangelist in your church. You realize that you are not able to pay someone full-time, so you look for someone who can divide his time between work in the church and a paid job.
Both of you place a notice with your intentions on the B2E website using the 'Get Connected' page.
That's how you find each other and start talking about possibilities to work together.
Just an example of the use and intentions for this page.
Training
Of course, before starting your journey as a missionary to Europe, you have been trained well in your home country.
You realize though that some additional training 'on site' might be very profitable for you. Think, for instance, about some church- and mission history of the region you will be working in, different worship styles, language training ....
You are a local pastor in Europe, looking for possibilities to work together with non-European missionaries who live near your church. But, you wonder, "how am I going to deal with cross-cultural communication, different worship styles, charismatic expressions of faith"?
You are a Christian who migrated years ago to a European country. Now you want to be involved in evangelism, but where do you start?
On this page you'll find schools in different parts of Europe which can address these questions. You'll also find here courses which will be made available in the (nearby) future.
Resources
You are thinking of becoming a missionary somewhere in Europe and you want to be better informed about European demographics.
You already work and live in Europe and you are interested in matters regarding migration.
You are involved in church leadership in a European church and you want to know more about the
pros and
cons of 'multi-directional mission' and the implications for your church.
These and many other resources can be found in the 'resources part' of this web site.
Please continue to check these resources as they will be updated regularly.
